Baiyuan Tongbei, Sanda (Sanshou) and Chinese Wrestling Throwing Skills

Summary

Strider Clark, senior disciple of Zhang Yun of Yin Cheng Gong Fa, will be giving a seminar on using Chinese Wrestling throwing skills (Shuai Jiao) in Tongbei and Sanda fighting at Attack Theatre, 4805 Penn Ave, in Pittsburgh on May 30-31. The seminar will go from 9-5pm on both Saturday and Sunday, and include a break for lunch. There will also be an opportunity to have dinner with Strider Saturday evening. This seminar is open to all interested martial artists.

Saturday

9-10:30am: Introduction to Tongbei, Shuai Jiao and Sanda (Sanshou), from traditional martial arts to modern fighting competition. This would include as discussion of the special features, principles and applications of each, including examples.

10:40am-12pm: Basic skills and conditioning training method from Tongbei and Shuai Jiao, Part I
12-1:00pm: Lunch break
1:00-3:00pm: Basic Tongbei application skills, punches and kicks
Break
3:10-5:00pm: Basic Shuai Jiao and Sanda skills, throwing, controlling
Dinner

Sunday

9-10:30am: Basic skills and conditioning training method from Tongbei, Shuai Jiao, Part II
Break
10:40am-12pm: Combination skills, Part I
12-1pm: Lunch break
1-3pm: Combination skills, Part II
Break
3:10-4pm: Training method
4-5pm: Questions and answers

Cost: $160 for two days and $80 for one day. Dinner is not included in the cost of the seminar.
